As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare detailed cost analysis and estimates based on architectural drawings, structural drawings, and client requirements.
- Perform comprehensive quantity take-offs and prepare Bill of Quantities (BQ) for tendering and contract purposes.
- Manage the end-to-end tendering process, including sourcing for subcontractors and suppliers and evaluating competitive quotations.
- Monitor project costs, prepare monthly progress claims, and process subcontractor payments accurately and timely.
- Assess, negotiate, and manage Variation Orders (VO) and prepare final accounts upon project completion.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify work progress and ensure alignment with contractual obligations.
- Liaise professionally with clients, consultants, and contractors on all commercial and contractual matters.
Kualifikasi
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of working experience in the construction industry is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in measurement software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- High level of integrity, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with standard forms of contract used in the Malaysian construction industry (e.g., PAM, PWD, or CIDB).
