Are you a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with a passion for mechanical and electrical engineering projects? Ideals Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in the West Region. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the cost management and contractual administration of complex ACMV (Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) projects within the construction industry.
As a key member of our project team, you will ensure the financial health of our projects by providing accurate cost estimates, managing sub-contractor accounts, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. We are looking for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong analytical skills to drive project profitability and excellence.
Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, tenders, and bills of quantities (BQ) for ACMV projects.
- Manage and monitor project expenditures, ensuring adherence to the approved budget.
- Administer sub-contractor progress claims, certifications, and final account settlements.
- Identify and evaluate potential variations to the contract and negotiate cost adjustments.
- Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to monitor site progress and resource allocation.
- Conduct site visits to verify work done and ensure contractual compliance.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and financial status updates for senior management.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in quantity surveying, specifically with ACMV or M&E projects.
- Strong understanding of standard building contracts and construction law.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to interpret detailed M&E blueprints and specifications.
