Are you a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor looking for a challenging role in the Construction industry? Forte Employment Services is seeking a skilled professional to join our team in the East Region. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of up to $3,500 per month. In this role, you will bridge the gap between engineering and project management, ensuring cost efficiency and accurate documentation. We are looking for someone who understands the intricacies of mechanical engineering and can apply it to commercial and industrial construction projects.
Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and analyze Bills of Quantities (BoQ) for construction projects.
- Monitor project costs and control expenditure to ensure budget compliance.
- Liaise with contractors and sub-contractors regarding claims and variations.
- Prepare interim payments and financial reports for stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections to verify work progress and materials used.
- Ensure all documentation complies with relevant engineering and building standards.
Kualifikasi
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and standard forms of contract.
- Proficiency in MS Office and QS software (e.g., PlanRadar, Bluebeam).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) or relevant certification is an advantage.
