Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for construction cost management? We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our dynamic estimating team in the Philippines. Reporting directly to the Estimating Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the pre-construction phase, ensuring project profitability and accuracy.
In this role, you will take ownership of the estimating process, from initial takeoff to final tender submission. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and take-offs for diverse construction projects.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to identify scope and potential risks.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and negotiate terms.
- Analyze project data to provide accurate budget forecasts and cost-saving recommendations.
- Monitor market trends to ensure estimates remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Coordinate with the Estimating Manager to refine project bids and ensure timely submission of tenders.
- Conduct site visits as necessary to verify site conditions and assess project requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all estimating processes and project files.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related Construction Management discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction estimating.
- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and local building codes.
- Exceptional numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to interact with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict tender deadlines.
- Licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Quantity Surveyor is a plus.
