In this pivotal role, you will serve as the strategic financial bridge between complex technical designs and successful project execution.
As our Estimator, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of electrical and commercial construction projects. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for electrical and commercial construction projects.
- Analyze technical specifications and blueprints to accurately calculate material quantities and labor requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and prepare comprehensive tender documents for client submission.
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction lifecycle and report any variances to management.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to secure competitive pricing and value engineering opportunities.
- Ensure strict compliance with local regulations, building codes, and contractual obligations.
- Manage variations, claims, and payments to ensure accurate financial records and reconciliation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in electrical estimation or quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard estimation software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or advanced Excel).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Good understanding of Malaysian construction standards, Tender Regulations, and contract law.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
