Join ECO Group of Companies as a Quantity Surveyor Manager specializing in interior design and build projects. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee cost management, procurement, and contract administration for our diverse portfolio of interior design projects. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a critical role in ensuring project profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in quantity surveying within the interior design sector, with a proven track record of managing complex projects from conception to completion. You will be responsible for developing accurate cost estimates, managing subcontractor relationships, and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising on design excellence.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead all quantity surveying activities for interior design and build projects, ensuring accurate cost estimation and budget adherence
- Manage procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract administration
- Prepare and analyze tender documents, bills of quantities, and cost reports
- Monitor project expenditures and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders
- Develop and implement cost control strategies to optimize project profitability
- Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and clients to resolve cost-related issues
- Mentor and lead a team of quantity surveyors, fostering professional development
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction methods affecting project costs
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Specialized experience in interior design and build projects is essential
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, MQSI) is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian construction contracts and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office applications
