You will be responsible for overseeing project costs, managing procurement processes, and ensuring contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, tender documents, and contracts for construction projects.
- Conduct regular site visits and measurement of work done to verify progress claims.
- Manage procurement processes, including sourcing suppliers and evaluating sub-contractor quotations.
- Monitor project expenditures and perform variance analysis against budgets.
- Prepare monthly progress reports and financial updates for management review.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to resolve contractual disputes.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and safety standards throughout the project duration.
- Manage variations and final accounts settlement with precision and efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably within the construction sector.
- Strong proficiency in construction measurement software and Microsoft Office (Excel).
- In-depth knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., PAM, JCT, FIDIC).
- Exceptional analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities in English and Malay.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
- Registered with the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM) is a significant advantage.
