Are you an analytical professional with a passion for Interior Design fit-out projects? Progamatic Design Sdn Bhd is looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Contract Executive to join our dynamic team in Selangor. In this role, you will be the backbone of our project financials, ensuring that our high-end interior projects are delivered within budget, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
As our QS, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of project costs, from initial tender stage through to final account settlement. You will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and subcontractors to minimize risks and maximize profitability. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and detailed bills of quantities (BQ) for interior fit-out projects.
- Manage the tender process, including issuing tender documents and analyzing sub-contractor quotations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify work done, and ensure adherence to contract specifications.
- Prepare and certify progress claims, variation orders, and final account settlements with clients and subcontractors.
- Maintain comprehensive records of project costs, material wastage, and variations to ensure budget alignment.
- Identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities without compromising design integrity.
- Provide contractual advice and support to the project management team regarding project disputes or claims.
Kualifikasi
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Construction, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in interior design fit-out or construction industries.
- Proficiency in BQ preparation, measurement of works, and contract law (PAM/CIDB standard forms preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy in calculations and documentation.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with subcontractors and vendors.
- Ability to interpret complex architectural drawings and interior design specifications.
- Proficient in MS Office suite and professional estimating software; knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
