Are you a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with a passion for high-stakes infrastructure? Stellar Integrated Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated QS to join our team in Johor Bahru. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the commercial success of our ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems installations within large-scale Data Center construction projects.
Data Centers are the backbone of the modern digital economy, and our ELV systems ensure these facilities operate at peak efficiency. As our Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for cost control, contract administration, and ensuring that our projects remain financially viable while meeting stringent industry standards. You will collaborate closely with project managers, vendors, and clients to provide accurate cost estimates and navigate complex procurement processes. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end project cost estimation and budget control for ELV systems in Data Center projects.
- Prepare comprehensive tender documentation, including bills of quantities (BQ) and contract agreements.
- Perform regular site visits to monitor progress, verify work completed, and ensure alignment with project budgets.
- Handle procurement activities, including sourcing and negotiating with subcontractors and material suppliers.
- Conduct rigorous monthly progress claims, variations, and final account reporting.
- Monitor and analyze project costs against budgets to minimize wastage and maximize profitability.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders regarding contractual and commercial matters.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the M&E or ELV construction sector.
- Strong understanding of Data Center infrastructure and ELV system components.
- Proficiency in contract administration (e.g., PAM, JCT, or FIDIC forms of contract).
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills in English and Malay.
- Proficient in MS Office and specialized cost-estimating software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
