Bayes is exclusively partnering with a leading international Main Contractor to identify a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor (Tender) to join their high-performing pre-contract team in the Central Region.

The Role:
As a key member of the commercial team, you will manage the full tender lifecycle. Your primary focus will be preparing precise cost estimates, bills of quantities, and strategic tender documentation. You will work closely with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure competitive quotations, ensuring every submission is commercially sound and positioned for success.
Key Requirements:
To excel in this role, you must have a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, proven experience in a pre-contract/tender environment within a Main Contractor, and a deep understanding of SIA and PSSCOC contracts. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines are essential.

Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities (BQ), and comprehensive tender documentation.
- Conduct thorough tender analysis, including the evaluation and comparison of subcontractor quotations.
- Manage the full pre-contract lifecycle from tender receipt through to contract award and handover.
- Perform regular site inspections and detailed quantity take-offs to ensure measurement accuracy.
- Liaise directly with consultants, architects, and main contractors to clarify scope and resolve technical discrepancies.
- Identify, assess, and recommend mitigation strategies for commercial risks in tender submissions.
- Prepare and present detailed cost reports and value engineering proposals to senior management.
- Maintain an up-to-date library of cost data, market intelligence, and preferred supplier partnerships.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Building Science.
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience, specializing in pre-contract/tenders.
- Proven track record working with a Main Contractor in Singapore is highly advantageous.
- Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building regulations.
- Proficiency in QS software (CostX, PlanSwift, Bluebeam) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent command of English, with strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
- Highly organized, able to work independently and manage multiple tender deadlines simultaneously.
- Familiarity with SIA, PSSCOC, REDAS, and other standard contract forms.
