Job Express Services, a premier recruitment firm in Singapore, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a leading main contractor specializing in industrial and building projects in the East Region.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will manage cost estimation, contract administration, procurement, and project financials to ensure the successful delivery of projects. This full-time role offers a competitive salary package of $4,500 to $6,500 per month, commensurate with experience.
Key responsibilities include preparing detailed cost plans, managing tender processes, evaluating subcontractor bids, handling progress claims and variations, and preparing final accounts. You will work closely with project teams, architects, and suppliers to optimize project costs and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience in a main contractor environment, with a strong track record in industrial or building construction projects. A relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying is preferred, along with in-depth knowledge of construction contracts (SIA, PSSCOC, etc.) and local regulations. Proficiency in cost estimation software and strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are essential.

Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for industrial and building projects.
- Oversee procurement, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and placing orders.
- Manage tender processes, including preparation of tender documents and evaluation of bids.
- Monitor project costs, track variations, and prepare progress claims and payment certificates.
- Conduct cost analysis and provide financial reports to project management.
- Liaise with subcontractors, architects, and engineers to ensure cost efficiency and compliance.
- Prepare final accounts, handle claim settlements, and close out projects.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and recommend cost-saving measures.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience in a Maincon Industrial or Builder company.
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts (SIA, PSSCOC, etc.) and local building regulations.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, CostX, Planswift) and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Singaporean/PR preferred, but all qualified candidates are considered.
