Tanggung Jawab
- Deliver Safe Treatment: Administer precise radiation therapy treatments to patients according to the physician's prescription and the approved treatment plan.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and troubleshoot complex radiation therapy equipment and simulators to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Patient Care & Comfort: Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring patients are positioned correctly and are physically and psychologically comfortable during procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the multidisciplinary oncology team, including oncologists, physicists, and dosimetrists, to ensure seamless treatment delivery.
- Patient Education: Educate patients about the treatment process, answering questions and addressing concerns to alleviate anxiety and improve patient compliance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment logs, and quality assurance documentation.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in regular quality control checks and audits to ensure the highest standards of radiation safety and accuracy.
Kualifikasi
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Radiography / Radiation Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) or relevant local medical board.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant working experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of radiotherapy physics, anatomy, and patient care protocols.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with hospital information systems and medical software.
