Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and compound radiopharmaceuticals according to strict aseptic techniques and established protocols for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Perform comprehensive quality control testing on all radiopharmaceutical doses prior to patient administration, ensuring purity, potency, and sterility.
- Dispense radiopharmaceuticals accurately and efficiently, maintaining meticulous records of all preparations and dosages.
- Ensure strict adherence to all local and international regulatory requirements, radiation safety guidelines, and pharmacy practice standards.
- Maintain and calibrate specialized equipment used in radiopharmaceutical preparation and quality control.
- Manage inventory of radioactive materials, precursors, and related supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and secure storage.
- Provide expert consultation and support to physicians and nuclear medicine technologists regarding radiopharmaceutical properties, handling, and administration.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine procedures.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Possession of a valid Pharmacist practicing license/registration in Malaysia.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in radiopharmacy or nuclear medicine pharmacy is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceutical compounding, quality control, and aseptic techniques.
- In-depth understanding of radiation safety principles and regulatory requirements (e.g., Atomic Energy Licensing Board).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
