EPS Malaysia is currently seeking a meticulous and driven Regional Accountant to join our team in Johor Bahru. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing regional financial operations, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards, and providing actionable insights to support business growth.
As part of a global team, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline financial reporting processes and maintain rigorous internal controls. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage full-set accounting functions for regional entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes in accordance with IFRS.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow forecasts.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze regional operational budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and manage inter-company reconciliations.
- Support tax planning and ensure timely filing of corporate tax returns for regional branches.
- Drive improvements in financial reporting systems and internal control frameworks.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MICPA).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a regional accounting or financial reporting role, ideally within an MNC.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Advanced analytical skills with mastery of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate with regional stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team goals.
