Checkout.com is a leading global payments technology company, processing millions of transactions daily. We are looking for a seasoned, commercially focused Regional Treasurer to head the Treasury function across the AsiaâPacific (APAC) region. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of cash, liquidity, and financial risk management, ensuring that our regional treasury operations support the companyâs rapid growth and strategic objectives.
You will partner closely with senior leadership, finance business partners, and banking institutions to optimise funding, mitigate foreignâexchange exposure, and maintain robust controls. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the APAC treasury team, providing strategic direction and dayâtoâday oversight of cash, liquidity, and investment activities.
- Develop and implement regional treasury policies, procedures, and controls in line with global standards.
- Manage banking relationships, negotiate facilities, and optimise the groupâs liquidity structure across multiple currencies.
- Oversee foreignâexchange risk identification, hedging strategies, and execution to protect the companyâs financial position.
- Drive cash forecasting, scenario analysis, and reporting to provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, tax, and accounting standards, and support audit activities.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or CTP certification is a plus.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in treasury or corporate finance, with at least 3 years in a regional treasury leadership role within APAC.
- Deep knowledge of cash management, liquidity planning, FX hedging, and capitalâmarket instruments.
- Proficiency with treasury management systems (e.g., SAP Treasury, Oracle Treasury) and advanced Excel modeling.
- Strong analytical, problemâsolving, and communication skills, capable of influencing crossâfunctional stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; Mandarin or other Asian languages is advantageous.
