We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Regional Corporate Legal Counsel to join Elite Beauty Asia. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert legal advice across a diverse portfolio of corporate, commercial, and employment matters spanning five APAC markets. You will be the trusted legal advisor ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and supporting the company’s ambitious growth trajectory in the dynamic beauty industry.
As part of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in navigating the complex regulatory landscape of Southeast Asia, ensuring that our operations remain robust and compliant. Tanggung Jawab
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel on corporate structuring, commercial contracts, and employment law across all APAC jurisdictions.
- Oversee and manage the company's corporate governance, including board meetings, shareholder resolutions, and statutory filings.
- Lead M&A activities, due diligence processes, and post-merger integration for acquisitions within the region.
- Advise on regulatory compliance issues, ensuring adherence to local and international laws in Malaysia and neighboring countries.
- Handle employment law matters, including drafting employment agreements, managing disciplinary proceedings, and resolving labor disputes.
- Conduct legal risk assessments and implement policies to protect the organization’s commercial interests.
Kualifikasi
- Qualified Lawyer (LLB/Barrister-at-Law) with a minimum of 5-7 years of post-qualification experience, specifically in Corporate and Commercial Law.
- Strong working knowledge of Employment Law and HR practices within the APAC region.
- Experience working in a multinational company or a regional role is highly desirable.
- Excellent command of English and proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to provide pragmatic commercial legal solutions.
- Proven track record in handling complex corporate transactions and regulatory compliance.
