Open Doors International Asia, Inc is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the Regional Director for the East and South Asia Region. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a network of sub-regional directors and country managers to effectively support the most persecuted believers across the continent. You will set the strategic vision for the region, ensuring that our mission to serve, equip, and advocate for the church in the world's most difficult places is executed with excellence and compassion. This is a unique opportunity to lead a diverse team in a high-impact environment, making a tangible difference in the lives of those facing severe oppression.
The successful candidate will oversee the operational and financial health of the region, fostering a culture of collaboration and resilience. You will work closely with international headquarters to align regional strategies with global goals, while also acting as a primary advocate for the persecuted church in your region. We are looking for someone who is not only a seasoned executive but also possesses a deep spiritual passion for the mission of supporting Christians facing persecution.
Tanggung Jawab
- Provide high-level strategic leadership to sub-regional directors and country managers, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
- Oversee regional operations, budget management, and financial reporting to ensure sustainable growth and impact.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to identify, assess, and respond to persecution risks and challenges in East and South Asia.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with local leaders, government officials, and partner organizations to facilitate effective ministry.
- Monitor and report on the status of believers in the region, providing critical intelligence to leadership and stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop talent within the regional leadership team to build a strong, resilient organization.
- Represent the organization at high-level conferences, forums, and meetings to raise awareness of persecution issues.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience in senior leadership or executive management roles, preferably within a non-profit, humanitarian, or mission-driven organization.
- Strong cross-cultural competency and the ability to navigate complex political and social landscapes in Asia.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, organizational development, and financial oversight.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- A deep commitment to the values and mission of Open Doors International.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Asia region.
- Relevant theological or missiological training is highly desirable.
