Ready for a rewarding contract role? PERSOL is seeking an accomplished Regional Tax Manager to join a prestigious client in the Seletar area. This is an 8-month contract covering a period of parental leave, offering a unique chance to lead regional tax strategy and operations for a dynamic multinational organisation.
About the Role
As the Regional Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all tax compliance, planning, and advisory functions for the Asia-Pacific region, with a strong emphasis on Singapore and Southeast Asian markets. Working closely with the Group Tax Director and various business units, you will ensure robust tax governance while supporting strategic initiatives across the group.

- Salary: Up to $10,000 per month (Based on Experience)
What You Will Do
- Manage direct and indirect tax compliance for the Singapore entity and regional subsidiaries.
- Lead the preparation and review of tax provisions, projections, and deferred tax calculations.
- Drive the transfer pricing planning, documentation, and defense process.
- Provide strategic tax advice on business operations, restructuring, and M&A activities.
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
- Co-ordinate and support tax audits and queries from tax authorities.
- Identify and implement tax process improvements to enhance efficiency and control.
About You
You are a seasoned tax professional with a strong background in corporate taxation within a multinational environment. You possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non-finance stakeholders. Independent, agile, and ready to hit the ground running, you thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the preparation and filing of all corporate tax returns for the region, ensuring compliance with local regulations and deadlines.
- Manage the monthly/quarterly tax provision process, including ASC 740/IAS 12 calculations and deferred tax analysis.
- Lead the regional transfer pricing compliance, including the preparation of TP documentation and managing TP audits.
- Provide expert tax advisory on cross-border transactions, permanent establishment risks, and business restructuring initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for tax authorities during audits and queries.
- Support M&A transactions, conducting tax due diligence, structuring, and integration planning.
- Develop and deliver tax training to finance and business teams.
- Drive tax technology and process improvement projects to optimize the tax operating model.
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Law from a recognized university.
- Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA Singapore, or SCTP) is mandatory.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in corporate tax, ideally within a Big 4 firm and a large MNC.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore tax laws, IRAS regulations, and international tax principles.
- Hands-on experience with transfer pricing documentation and audit defense.
- Proficiency in tax accounting (FRS 12/IAS 12) and tax return software is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
- Excellent project management skills with a self-starter attitude.
