We seek an experienced Registrar to spearhead registry operations, academic governance, quality assurance frameworks, and comprehensive student administration. In this pivotal role, you will shape institutional policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance the student lifecycle experience while maintaining the highest standards of educational excellence.
As the Registrar, you will drive strategic initiatives in academic records management, accreditation support, and institutional effectiveness reporting. You will collaborate with faculty, departments, and regulatory bodies to implement innovative administrative solutions that support our mission of producing globally competitive medical professionals. This position offers the opportunity to lead transformative projects in higher education administration while contributing to Penang's growing healthcare education ecosystem.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee all registry operations including student admissions, registration, academic records management, and graduation processes
- Develop and enforce academic governance policies ensuring compliance with MOHE and MQA requirements
- Implement quality assurance frameworks for curriculum delivery and institutional effectiveness
- Lead student administration functions including enrollment, examinations, transcript management, and alumni relations
- Coordinate accreditation processes for medical programs and maintain compliance with healthcare education standards
- Manage digital student information systems and implement data-driven administrative improvements
- Represent the university in academic committees and stakeholder engagements
Kualifikasi
- Master's degree in Education Administration, Higher Education Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- Minimum 8 years progressive experience in higher education administration with 3+ years in leadership
- Proven expertise in academic governance, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance in medical education
- Strong proficiency in student information systems (SIS) and educational data analytics
- Deep understanding of Malaysian higher education regulatory framework (MOHE, MQA)
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing international student populations and cross-cultural academic environments
