Wing Assistant is seeking a highly skilled Remote UK Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our financial operations for UK-based clients, ensuring precision in VAT compliance, ledger management, and financial reporting.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment and possesses the technical expertise to handle complex bookkeeping tasks autonomously. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, streamlining accounts receivable/payable processes, and providing our UK clients with the fiscal clarity they need to scale their businesses.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for UK-based clients, ensuring high accuracy and timely delivery.
- Apply UK VAT regulations correctly, distinguishing between taxable supplies, exempt supplies, and zero-rated transactions.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements with absolute precision.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable to identify overdue invoices and manage cash flow effectively.
- Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and provide supporting documentation for audits.
- Communicate professionally with client stakeholders regarding financial discrepancies or status updates.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant, with a specific focus on UK accounting practices (HMRC compliance).
- Deep knowledge of UK VAT rules, thresholds, and reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, or Sage.
- Strong analytical skills with an uncompromising attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup with reliable high-speed internet.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a strong plus).
