Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive market research and trend analysis to identify opportunities for new furniture product lines.
- Develop detailed product designs, technical drawings, and 3D renderings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Create and manage prototypes, overseeing the sampling process to ensure design intent, quality, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Source and evaluate new materials, hardware, and suppliers to support innovation and sustainability goals.
- Lead R&D project timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and report on project progress and milestones.
- Conduct rigorous testing on prototypes and finished products to ensure compliance with safety standards and durability requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all R&D activities, including design iterations, test results, and specifications.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Product Design, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in R&D or product development within the furniture, woodworking, or manufacturing industry.
- A strong portfolio showcasing successful furniture product launches from concept to market.
- Expert proficiency in 2D and 3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, 3ds Max, SketchUp).
- In-depth knowledge of furniture materials (solid wood, plywood, MDF, metal, upholstery) and production techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing methodologies for furniture products.
- Familiarity with sustainable and eco-friendly design practices is highly preferred.
