The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Officer or Senior Research Officer to join the Institute for Human Development and Potential (IHDP). Tanggung Jawab
- Plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale fieldwork operations and community-based research studies.
- Oversee data collection processes, ensuring high integrity, accuracy, and adherence to ethical research standards.
- Clean, manage, and analyze complex datasets using statistical software to support ongoing research objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design study protocols, literature reviews, and research methodologies.
- Prepare high-quality reports, academic manuscripts, and presentations for both internal stakeholders and external conferences.
- Provide operational support for institutional review board (IRB) submissions and ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Mentor junior research staff and assist in the onboarding of new team members where necessary.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Public Health, Life Sciences, Sociology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant research experience; preference for those with fieldwork or longitudinal study exposure.
- Strong technical proficiency in statistical analysis software such as R, Stata, SPSS, or Python.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse community stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing complex data records.
- Ability to work independently as well as contribute effectively to a multi-disciplinary research team.
- Strong interest in health behavior research and human development outcomes.
