Join Forvis Mazars in Kuala Lumpur as a Restructuring & Insolvency Associate or Senior. We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our dynamic Corporate Recovery team. In this role, you will work on complex insolvency engagements, business restructuring projects, and financial advisory mandates. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the execution of formal insolvency appointments, including liquidations, receiverships, and judicial management.
- Conduct detailed independent business reviews (IBRs) to assess company financial health and operational viability.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders, creditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Perform financial analysis, cash flow modeling, and asset realization strategies.
- Provide advisory support on debt restructuring and turnaround planning for distressed clients.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and other professional advisors to ensure compliance with relevant insolvency laws.
- Support senior team members in project management and engagement administration.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MICPA).
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in Restructuring, Insolvency, or Audit in a professional services firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of the Malaysian Companies Act and relevant insolvency frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, report-writing, and communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
