Tanggung Jawab
- Provide exceptional customer service to patrons, specifically assisting with inquiries regarding Chinese language books, magazines, and merchandise.
- Assist in the visual merchandising and display of the Chinese department to ensure an inviting, organized, and appealing shopping environment.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently while maintaining transaction records.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory to ensure product availability, price accuracy, and timely replenishment of best-selling items.
- Support and execute in-store promotional activities, seasonal campaigns, and events to drive foot traffic and sales.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and clutter-free store environment in accordance with company health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the store management team to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
Kualifikasi
- Fluent in Mandarin (Written and Oral) is essential for effective communication with customers in the Chinese Department.
- Possess a genuine interest in books, literature, and the retail industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and customer-centric attitude.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to changing schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage, but not mandatory as training is provided.
