We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Retail Purchasing Manager to join the All Happy team in Penang. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement lifecycle, ensuring our inventory aligns perfectly with customer demand while driving profitability. You will act as the bridge between suppliers and our retail operations, identifying market trends, spotting product gaps, and negotiating favorable costs to set competitive retail prices.
As a Purchasing Manager, you will lead the strategy for product assortment, manage supplier relationships, and utilize data-driven insights to forecast demand. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, from identifying product requirements to final delivery.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to spot product gaps and identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate closely with sales and merchandising teams to align inventory with consumer demand.
- Monitor stock levels and manage inventory turnover to minimize waste and maximize sales.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast future demand and adjust purchasing strategies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in retail purchasing or procurement.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence supplier outcomes.
- Proven track record of identifying market trends and capitalizing on product opportunities.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and inventory reports.
- Self-disciplined and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
