Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and control the banana ripening process to ensure optimal quality and shelf life
- Coordinate with farmers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of mature bananas
- Adjust ripening conditions (temperature, humidity, and ethylene levels) based on market requirements
- Document and maintain records of ripening processes for quality control and traceability
- Train and supervise staff involved in the ripening operations
- Collaborate with the sales team to align ripening schedules with market demand
- Implement and maintain food safety and quality control standards
- Stay updated on the latest ripening technologies and best practices in the industry
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in agriculture, food science, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in fruit ripening or post-harvest management is advantageous
- Knowledge of banana physiology and ripening processes
- Ability to work with temperature-controlled environments and ripening chambers
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills for coordinating with various stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation
