Michael Page is seeking a highly skilled Record-to-Report (RTR) General Ledger Analyst to join our team in Petaling Jaya. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the integrity of our financial data for the US region, ensuring strict adherence to global accounting standards and corporate compliance.
You will be responsible for end-to-end GL processes, managing complex reconciliations, and supporting month-end closing activities. Tanggung Jawab
- Execute end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) processes for US entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Perform complex monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including journal entries and accruals.
- Conduct balance sheet and bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure full compliance with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls, and internal company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to streamline financial workflows and reporting efficiency.
- Support internal and external audit requirements by providing documentation and analytical explanations.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance the accuracy and speed of financial cycles.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in GL accounting, preferably within an SSC or multinational environment.
- Solid working knowledge of US GAAP and local statutory accounting requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent command of English, with the ability to communicate financial data clearly to stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, professional skepticism, and attention to detail.
