Cekal Tulin Development is seeking a dedicated Safety and Health Officer (SHO) to join our growing team in Pahang. In this pivotal role, you will be the guardian of our workforce, ensuring that every construction activity is conducted in a safe and compliant manner. We are looking for a proactive professional who is passionate about preventing accidents and fostering a culture of safety.
As an SHO, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of safety management on our sites. This includes conducting rigorous risk assessments, leading safety briefings, and ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met. You will play a key role in incident investigation, helping us learn from past events to build a safer future. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor construction sites to ensure compliance with local safety and health regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Develop and implement safety training programs and toolbox talks for site personnel.
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and incidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate safety records, incident reports, and inspection logs.
- Coordinate with management to ensure the provision of adequate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Promote a positive safety culture among all employees and subcontractors.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Engineering, or related field.
- Valid DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health) certification or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction safety management.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction codes, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using safety management software and reporting tools.
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions on construction sites.
