Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety and health programs in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and related regulations
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures
- Deliver effective safety training programs to employees, supervisors, and management teams
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures and ensure proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports
- Stay updated on changes in safety regulations and industry best practices to ensure continuous compliance
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies during inspections and ensure timely implementation of recommendations
Kualifikasi
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or related field
- Certified Safety Officer (SO) or Safety and Health Officer (SHO) certification recognized by DOSH Malaysia
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in safety and health management, preferably in the construction industry
- Thorough knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and related regulations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify workplace hazards and assess risks
- Excellent communication and training abilities to effectively educate employees on safety procedures
- Experience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
- Proficient in safety management software and reporting systems
