We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Coordinator to join our team in West Region. In this key role, you will be responsible for championing our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across all operations, ensuring full compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act. You will act as the primary point of contact for safety matters, driving a culture where safety is everyone's responsibility.
As a Safety Coordinator, you will work closely with site management and engineering teams to identify hazards, implement control measures, and conduct regular audits. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive HSE policies and procedures in accordance with WSH regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and toolbox talks to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Investigate accident reports, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive actions.
- Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors to enhance awareness.
- Maintain accurate HSE records, including incident logs, risk assessments, and audit reports.
- Ensure all lifting operations and machinery are inspected and maintained in a safe working condition.
- Collaborate with management to enforce safety standards and report non-compliance issues promptly.
Kualifikasi
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Certification such as NEBOSH or a WSH Diploma is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in a Safety Coordinator role within the construction or industrial sector.
- Strong working knowledge of the WSH Act in Singapore and relevant safety management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and advise diverse teams.
- Proficient in using MS Office applications and HSE management software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
