CHEC Construction (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Safety & Health Officer to join our dynamic team in Kuching, Sarawak. In this critical role, you will safeguard our workforce by ensuring strict adherence to occupational safety standards and regulatory requirements. You'll conduct comprehensive risk assessments, develop safety protocols, and lead training programs that foster a culture of proactive safety awareness across our construction sites. Tanggung Jawab
- Implement and monitor safety management systems compliant with OSHA and DOSH regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections and hazard assessments to mitigate risks
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for all personnel levels
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and regulatory compliance records
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and safety drills
- Liaise with government agencies and safety certification bodies
Kualifikasi
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or Engineering
- Minimum 3 years' experience in construction safety management
- Valid certification in OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations (DOSH, FMA, etc.)
- Incident investigation and root cause analysis expertise
- Excellent communication and training facilitation skills
- Proficient in safety documentation systems and reporting tools
