As an important team member of the project team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment for all employees and stakeholders. We are seeking a dedicated professional to implement and monitor comprehensive safety protocols, conduct thorough risk assessments, and promote a strong culture of safety across our operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining regulatory compliance and minimizing workplace hazards effectively.
Tanggung Jawab
- Implement and monitor company safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify potential hazards.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Provide comprehensive safety training and induction sessions to new and existing employees.
- Ensure all safety equipment is available, maintained, and used correctly.
- Liaise with external safety auditors and regulatory authorities to maintain accreditation.
- Maintain accurate records of safety reports, incident logs, and training documentation.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), Engineering, or a related field.
- Valid SSMP (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia) or equivalent recognized safety certificate is mandatory.
- Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience in a similar Safety Health Officer role.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and regulations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a project team and manage multiple priorities.
