PNE Industries is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety & Health Officer to join our team in Johor Bahru. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our workplace safety culture, ensuring that every employee returns home safe every day.
As our Safety & Health Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) activities, conducting regular site audits, and ensuring strict adherence to the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA 1994) and other relevant regulations. We are looking for an individual who is not only technically proficient but also an excellent communicator capable of conducting effective safety training and promoting a 'safety-first' mindset across all departments.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994, FMA 1967, and all other relevant statutory requirements.
- Lead incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Organize and facilitate safety training programs, including toolbox talks and emergency response drills.
- Liaise with external government agencies (DOSH/NIOSH) and serve as the secretary for the Safety & Health Committee.
- Maintain comprehensive safety documentation, permits, and records for audit readiness.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related engineering/science field.
- Registered Safety and Health Officer with DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia) is mandatory.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of local OSH laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in MS Office suite and digital record-keeping tools.
