As a Safety & Health Officer at Ast Machinery, you will play a pivotal role in our construction operations. You will be responsible for implementing health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring that all machinery and work environments meet stringent safety standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOSH, and other relevant safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Organize and conduct safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and induction programs for employees.
- Inspect personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure it is being used correctly and is in good condition.
- Prepare and submit safety reports to management and regulatory bodies.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), Engineering, or a related field.
- Valid OSH Certificate (SSM recognized) is mandatory.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian safety laws and industry standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and training.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple site inspections simultaneously.
- Valid First Aid certificate is an added advantage.
