Kerisik Resources Sdn Bhd is looking for a detailâoriented Safety & Health Officer (SHO) to join our construction team in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. In this role you will be responsible for monitoring site safety, ensuring full compliance with Malaysian occupational safety and health regulations, and fostering a culture of safety across all levels of the workforce.
You will collaborate closely with project managers, supervisors, and workers to conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and safety briefings. Your expertise will help prevent workplace incidents, reduce hazards, and maintain regulatory documentation. By promoting safe work practices and delivering training sessions, you will play a pivotal part in protecting our employees and assets.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform daily site safety inspections and monitor adherence to safety procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification studies for all construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and related regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety plans, policies, and emergency response procedures.
- Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and inductions for new and existing workers.
- Investigate accidents, nearâmisses, and incidents; prepare detailed reports and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate safety records, statistical data, and regulatory documentation.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and thirdâparty auditors during safety audits.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certified Safety and Health Officer (CSHO) or equivalent certification recognized in Malaysia.
- Minimum 2â3 years of experience in safety and health management within the construction industry.
- Proficient knowledge of OSHA 1994, Malaysian HSE regulations, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Strong analytical, problemâsolving, and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct training sessions and engage with all levels of personnel.
- Detailâoriented with a proactive approach to hazard identification and risk mitigation.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites in Kelantan.
