We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Safety Officer to join our team on a contract basis in Subic, Zambales. In this role, you will be the primary advocate for site safety, ensuring that all construction operations align with local regulations and best practices.
As our Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in mitigating risks and fostering a culture of safety. You will be responsible for conducting routine site inspections, identifying potential hazards, and implementing effective corrective actions. Your ability to lead safety briefings and maintain accurate documentation will be instrumental in preventing workplace incidents and ensuring a secure environment for all personnel on-site.

Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Enforce strict compliance with local safety regulations and company-specific health and safety policies.
- Lead regular safety toolbox meetings and training sessions for site workers and subcontractors.
- Investigate all workplace incidents, near-misses, and accidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain comprehensive safety documentation, including inspection logs, incident reports, and compliance records.
- Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure all personnel are adequately equipped.
- Collaborate with site management to develop and update emergency response plans and evacuation procedures.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer within the construction industry.
- Completion of the BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) or COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health) training is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of Philippine DOLE occupational safety and health regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify safety risks proactively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate and influence workers on site.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive during high-pressure situations or emergency incidents.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for report writing and documentation management.
- Willingness to work on-site in Subic, Zambales on a contract basis.
