We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Bunawan, Davao del Sur. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving our safety programs and policies. You will conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards, ensure compliance with local and national OSH regulations, and lead training sessions to empower employees with safety knowledge. Additionally, you will investigate incidents, analyze data, and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Lead safety training programs for employees, including orientation, equipment handling, emergency response, and hazard communication.
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses; analyze root causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement in occupational health.
- Monitor and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with OSH laws and company policies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certified Safety Officer (CSO) or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a safety officer role, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine OSH standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to conduct effective training.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software.
