Are you a proactive Safety professional with a passion for site excellence? Thermovar Pipes Sales And Services is looking for a dedicated and vigilant Safety Officer to join our growing team in Mandaue City. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our workplace safety culture, ensuring that our project sites and office premises remain safe environments for all employees and contractors.
We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). As our Safety Officer, you will not only implement rigorous health and safety programs but also act as an advocate for safety policy compliance. You will collaborate with site managers, engineers, and workers to identify potential hazards, mitigate risks, and promote a 'safety-first' mindset across all operations. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive health and safety programs tailored to construction site operations and office environments.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety policies and local regulatory requirements.
- Lead safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and specialized training sessions for site personnel.
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents, providing thorough reports and actionable corrective measures.
- Maintain all required OSH documentation, safety permits, and incident logs with meticulous attention to detail.
- Coordinate with management to procure and maintain adequate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all employees.
- Enforce compliance with DOLE and other relevant government safety standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) or COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health) certification is required.
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer in the construction or industrial pipe manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine OSH standards and relevant labor laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively mentor workers and manage stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be willing to work on-site at various projects within the Mandaue City area.
