Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and national regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training sessions and toolbox talks for workers at all levels.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and conducts drills.
- Liaise with government agencies and clients on safety matters.
- Monitor and ensure the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field.
- Certified Safety Officer (COSh) or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in construction safety.
- In-depth knowledge of DOLE and OSHA standards, as well as local safety regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct training and motivate safe behavior.
- Proficiency in safety audit and incident investigation techniques.
- Willing to work full-time in Las Pinas City and at project sites.
- Valid competency certificates and updated training.
