We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Officer and Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Johor Bahru. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct daily and weekly site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA and local safety regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Safety Management Systems (SMS) tailored to construction activities.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Organize and conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions to educate staff on safety protocols.
- Monitor and enforce the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety signage across all project sites.
- Coordinate with project management to ensure safety requirements are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Review and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and emergency response plans regularly.
- Manage safety documentation, including permits, logs, and audit reports, ensuring all records are up to date.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Valid OSSH (Semenyih) Certificate is mandatory.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar Safety Officer or Supervisor role within the construction industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to interpret technical safety drawings and risk assessments.
- Certification in First Aid is highly desirable.
- Physically fit and willing to work on-site in various weather conditions.
