Conmech Construction & Development Corporation is looking for a dedicated Safety Officer / Project Engineer to join our growing team in Metro Manila. In this dual-role capacity, you will be the driving force behind our commitment to workplace safety while ensuring our construction projects meet rigorous quality and timeline standards.

You will lead safety initiatives, conduct site inspections, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellence on every project site. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive health and safety programs for all on-site employees and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and hazard assessments to ensure compliance with OSH standards and local regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers to integrate safety protocols into daily construction workflows and project timelines.
- Prepare, document, and maintain accurate safety reports, accident logs, and project progress updates.
- Lead safety orientation and toolbox meetings for site personnel to promote a culture of awareness and prevention.
- Assist in the technical supervision of construction activities to ensure high-quality output and adherence to engineering blueprints.
- Investigate any accidents or near-miss incidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer (preferred) or hold relevant technical certifications.
- DOLE-accredited BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) or COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health) training certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a construction-related safety or engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine OSH standards and construction industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence staff at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
