This is a critical role responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our safety management systems. You will be the cornerstone of our commitment to providing a hazard-free work environment for all personnel across our construction and project sites.
In this dynamic position, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and craft professionals to ensure strict adherence to local (DOLE), national, and international safety regulations (OSHA, ISO 45001). Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with company standards and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular field inspections, hazard analyses, and risk assessments to identify potential dangers and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and prepare detailed reports to prevent recurrence.
- Deliver engaging safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors.
- Ensure strict compliance with DOLE, OSHA, and other relevant safety regulations on all project sites.
- Maintain accurate safety records, permits, and documentation, preparing reports for management review.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies, and project teams.
- Promote a strong safety culture through continuous improvement initiatives and employee engagement activities.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related technical discipline.
- Valid certification in Safety (e.g., Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH), Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Safety Specialist, Safety Officer, or similar role within the Construction or Engineering industry.
- In-depth knowledge of DOLE regulations, Environmental Compliance, and international safety standards (ISO 45001).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and train teams at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and safety management software.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, project-based environment in Manila City and potentially on-site across various locations.
