Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor daily construction site activities to identify potential hazards and enforce strict safety compliance at all times.
- Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and inspections to ensure all equipment and work practices meet local regulatory requirements.
- Investigate accident reports and near-miss incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure all site workers are adequately trained and certified.
- Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to integrate safety measures into the construction workflow without compromising efficiency.
- Maintain accurate safety records, incident logs, and compliance documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Liaise with government safety authorities (e.g., DOSH) to ensure full adherence to Malaysian construction safety laws and guidelines.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Safety Supervisor in the construction industry.
- Valid OSSH (Occupational Safety and Health) or OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) Certificate is mandatory.
- Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related safety-related field.
- Strong knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and local construction safety regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver effective safety training to diverse teams.
- Proficiency in using safety management software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and remain calm under pressure during emergencies or site inspections.
