Guardian Health & Beauty, a leading health and beauty retailer in Malaysia and part of the Dairy Farm Group, is currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join their team at the Taman Tun Aminah store as a Sales Assistant cum Cashier (Part-Time). As a key ambassador of the Guardian brand, you will provide an exceptional shopping experience, help customers find the right products, and handle transactions efficiently.
This role involves a mix of sales and cashier duties. Your typical day may include greeting and assisting customers, processing sales at the cash register with accuracy, accepting various forms of payment, and handling cash balances. You will also ensure shelves are fully stocked, product displays are attractive, and the store environment is clean and organized. Additional responsibilities include supporting inventory counts, rotating stock to maintain freshness, and promoting in-store offers and loyalty programs. You will collaborate with the store team to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of service.
We are looking for a personable and proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment. Excellent communication skills in both English and Malay are essential; proficiency in other languages is an advantage. Previous retail or cash handling experience is welcomed but not required as full training will be provided. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, passionate about health and beauty, and willing to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.

- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with product inquiries.
- Efficiently operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Stock shelves and ensure product displays are appealing and fully replenished.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock counts and rotation.
- Promote loyalty programs and current promotions to customers.
- Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
Kualifikasi
- Previous experience in retail or cashier role is an advantage but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle cash accurately.
- Customer-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 10kg.
- Fluent in English and Malay; knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
- Minimum SPM or equivalent.
