Scanner Clerk

Kintetsu World Express (KWE) is a globally recognized leader in integrated logistics and supply chain solutions. We are currently looking for a meticulous and highly organized Scanner Clerk to support our operations hub in Port Klang on a contract basis.

In this role, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing the flawless tracking and processing of shipments via precise scanning and documentation practices. Key Responsibilities

• Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and process all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry of shipment details, labels, and barcodes into the company's logistics database.
• Verify shipment manifests, packing lists, and bills of lading against physical goods to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare, print, and affix shipping labels, airway bills, and customs documentation as required.
• Collaborate closely with warehouse and operations teams to guarantee the timely dispatch and receiving of cargo.
• Maintain organized digital and physical records of scanned documents and proof of deliveries.
• Adhere strictly to all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and security regulations.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or data inconsistencies to the immediate supervisor without delay.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Secondary School / SPM / O-Level qualification or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or scanning role is highly advantageous.
• Basic computer literacy is required; familiarity with WMS software.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry tasks.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle small packages throughout the shift.
• Good communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions precisely.
• Willingness to work on a contract/temporary basis with flexible shift hours if required.
