Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare operating rooms for orthopaedic surgeries by setting up specialized instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes
- Assist surgeons during orthopaedic procedures by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently
- Maintain strict sterile fields and enforce aseptic protocols throughout surgical procedures
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after surgery to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical equipment and supplies for subsequent procedures
- Transport patients to and from operating rooms while monitoring vital signs
- Document surgical procedures, equipment usage, and patient information accurately
Kualifikasi
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in orthopaedic surgical environments preferred
- Proficiency in sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols
- Strong knowledge of orthopaedic instruments, implants, and procedures
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced surgical settings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of accredited surgical technology program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
