Tanggung Jawab
- Assist Chief Engineer in operating and maintaining propulsion systems, electrical equipment, and auxiliary machinery
- Monitor vessel systems performance and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules for critical shipboard equipment
- Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and company protocols
- Coordinate with deck crew for integrated operational efficiency
- Document maintenance activities and equipment performance reports
- Participate in emergency drills and safety response procedures
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent maritime certification
- Valid Second Engineer's license (STCW Convention compliant)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in container ship operations
- Proficiency in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and refrigeration units
- Strong diagnostic skills for mechanical and electrical systems
- Knowledge of SOLAS and MARPOL regulations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Effective English communication and teamwork skills
