Borneo Bina Jaya Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic finance team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the complete accounting cycle, from processing daily transactions to preparing comprehensive financial statements. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage full set of accounts including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and trial balance preparation
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)
- Ensure strict adherence to Malaysian taxation laws including GST, SST, income tax, and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audit and tax filing processes
- Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and inter-company transactions
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and accounting procedures
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized institution
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in full set accounts preparation
- Strong understanding of Malaysian tax regulations, GST/SST requirements, and Companies Act 2016
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent will be an added advantage
- Proficient in accounting software (MYOB, Sage, QuickBooks) and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines
