Caldic is currently seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant for a 1-year contract based in Glenmarie, Selangor. This role is pivotal in supporting our APAC financial operations, ensuring precision in financial reporting, and providing actionable insights that drive our regional strategy.
As a Senior Accountant, you will serve as a key point of contact for regional finance coordination, collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and maintain high standards of financial integrity. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for APAC entities in compliance with local regulations and group policies.
- Lead the financial forecasting and budgeting process, providing variance analysis and recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate regional finance activities, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across different APAC business units.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing activities with high attention to detail.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
- Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring all financial documentation is audit-ready and compliant.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and statutory reporting requirements for the region.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or MIA).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multinational corporation.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and regional accounting standards within APAC.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a contract-based, high-performance environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across regional teams.
