As a Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of the general accounting cycle, from reviewing journals to preparing financial statements. You will be the go-to person for complex accounting issues, ensuring compliance with IFRS, MFRS, and Malaysian tax laws (including SST and corporate tax). Your day-to-day will involve managing the month-end close process, supervising junior staff, and providing insightful analysis to support strategic business decisions.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the complete accounting cycle, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing accurate management reports, schedules, and variance analyses.
- Ensure strict compliance with IFRS, MFRS, and local statutory requirements, including SST and corporate tax filings.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audit activities, acting as the primary point of contact for the finance function.
- Review and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to mitigate risk and improve efficiency.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of junior accountants, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Prepare and present insightful financial analyses to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional regional teams to drive process improvements and support business growth initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MIA is mandatory.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws (SST, Corporate Tax) and transfer pricing principles.
- Proven experience with ERP systems is essential (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics). Experience with Epicor ERP is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex financial modeling).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across all organizational levels.
